The food was wonderful, start to finish. We had the cheese puffs and smoked trout dip to start. Both were excellent. For entrees, I had the trout and my husband ordered the steak. Both were perfectly prepared, with outstanding sides. For dessert, we ordered the "Hunny Pot" and butterscotch pudding. They were delectable. If we had one criticism, it would be that the cocktail menu is pretty limited. But our Sazeracs were tasty and the wine recommended for the trout was spot-on. If you are in Estes Park, you should absolutely eat here.

All dishes we tried were excellent, including the corn soup, green salad with tomatoes, the Three Sisters - a delicious vegetarian dish, scallops, and pork shoulder.   I made reservations 2 weeks ago and was told that they would not do a confirmation email. I put the time of the reservation immediately into my phone calendar. When... read more we arrived, we were told that our reservation was for 1 hour later than for when I had actually made it (and than what my phone documented) so we would have to wait. However, after a few minutes, we were told that they would find a table for us. We were eventually seated—maybe after a 20 minute wait. We were then served a “splash” of complimentary champagne.—I guess for the reservation issue. We had the cheese puffs which were probably the best part of the meal, and trout pot which was good, as appetizers. We each had the deep fried chicken breast which was tasty. It was served on a bed of black and brown beans with cabbage and seasonings. The vegetables were just “ok” — a bit of a let down for a nice restaurant. No bread was offered. We had a cocktail each which were fine. We had the honey pot for dessert. It was extremely sweet which was too much for my taste. It was one of those desserts in which sweet ingredients are layered into a jar with no baking or preparation skills required. Again, I would appreciate something more in line with the pricing. Overall, the service was good. Pricing was a little too much for what was delivered. But to be fair, certainly nothing here was bad. And we enjoyed the evening.

My partner, who must eat gluten-free, had a wonderful and care-free meal, including desert.

My partner and I ate at several restaurants in Estes Park over our week-long stay, and Seasoned was far and above the best (although the others we rated mostly very good). We both had the duck, which was cooked precisely to our desired doneness, although my partner would have preferred a crispier skin. The duck was nicely presented over a mixture of rice and vegetables.

Although this restaurant is expensive, it is worth it for the quality of the food. There are plenty of good restaurants in Estes Park if you want a good meal at a reasonable price, but Seasoned is far and above the best that we found.
