More than a typical Bistro... - We were there for our wedding anniversary. Menu is small but the dishes we tried were very fresh, with local produce. We liked the wine pairings added to each menu... read more item and well selected wine list. Consider trying Colorado wine on their list from Snowy Peaks Winery a few blocks down the restaurant. This place is certainly more than a typical bistro and probably the best restaurant close to a casual "fine dining" style in Estes Park.
October 26, 2024Our favorite meal in Estes! - We had a wonderful dinner here, both the food and the service were top notch. We arrived a few minutes early (we had made a reservation on Resy), so... read more we ordered drinks while we waited for our table. My sangria was very good, made with fresh blueberries and raspberries. We started with cups of the corn soup, served in teacups. My husband and I both had the lemon-brined chicken with fried green tomatoes, and enjoyed it immensely. The ingredients used are local and seasonal, and it showed. We love supporting these types of restaurants that value the farmers that raised/grew the food they serve. The service was prompt but not overbearing, and we never felt rushed. Everyone around us seemed to be relaxed and enjoying their dinner as well. We also appreciated that the emphasis was on quality, not quantity. I am weary of being presented with a giant plate of subpar food at so many restaurants these days. Our dinners at Seasoned were just the right size, leaving us with just enough room to split a dessert. We look forward to returning someday!

Good fine dining - The salad was tasty The cheesy puffs were good as “puffs” but didn’t taste a lot of cheese, but still enjoyed them. The duck was nicely cooked... read more duck breast with a spicy rub and spicy cabbage along with it. Great dish! The bison spaghetti came with asparagus. Good, tasty, not sure I’d say it was anything special, but enjoyable, that is for sure. Fun old building with history, attractive, not too big. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed the meal. Comes with a free splash of Cava. Decent looking wine and beer list. Menu is on the small side. If you are looking for fine dining in this town, this is the place to start.

Best we had in Estes - We loved our experience here. Three generations of family. Good bar selections. Smoky old fashioneds were a hit. Three adults had trout. Chicken was also a hit. Vegetarian granddaughter found... read more something to like. Great wine pairings. Set up a table for our seven person group. Peach tart was good for dessert. Friendly service. Good kids menu too.
August 18, 2024Extraordinary food plus a gracious, intimate, yet upbeat atmosphere. - I suppose everyone in town already knows this fine dining spot, as it’s the best food in town for a gracious and creative cuisine from a chef owner and... read more his wonderful staff. But I want to give a shout out to their Sunday brunch which I believe isn’t widely known. Nothing mundane about it. Just delicious and perfectly prepared. Whether a prime rib breakfast! or elevated french toast choices, words don’t describe the quality. I even had an elevated bloody mary . Yum! Corn and lobster bisque anyone? Oh wait, and to go with the dinner menu was, a fine looking wine list but I chose a smoked old fashioned that was served smoking with a choice of pecan, apple or cherry wood. A new twist on an old drink which added an extra little wonderful experience. It was. We live where scallops are harvested, we eat them several times a month, and these were amazing. The ‘three sister ‘ vegetable patties, oh my. ..the pasta dish was homemade . I could go on. The dessert!

Our best meal in Colorado - Our dinner was the highlight not only of our time in Estes Park but also of our four nights in Denver, too. A quiet, comfortable, casually elegant setting with carefully... read more constructed and utterly delicious food. We enjoyed a beautiful green salad and crispy truffle fries for starters followed by the pork belly and spare rib entrees. For dessert, Ebony and Ivory was rich and decadent while the Apple Pie Honey Pot was not only gluten free but fabulous and unlike any dessert I’ve ever had—I loved it, which is high praise given that I am a chocoholic and there was no chocolate to be found. I scraped the serving dish clean! The service was friendly and informed, the wine excellent. We highly recommend Seasoned—make a reservation and enjoy a meal actually worth what you pay!
October 13, 2023Amazing place for a rehearsal dinner! - Highly recommend Seasoned for any event. My dad is a chef, so I was nervous about his experience and expectations for the food my wedding weekend. That being said, he... read more could not stop raving about Chef Rob. He was pleasant to work with and very flexible with food choices. We were able to customize the menu, so we had fun food selections (the food also comes in super cute plates and vessels). Two of our guests also dropped out the day before due to a family emergency and altitude sickness; Seasoned was very flexible and accommodating with this request. We were able to invite two other guests at the last minute. We had a very good experience and the food was amazing.

A classy, delicious experience - What a fabulous restaurant! We ate here for a rehearsal dinner. The wedding party had booked the entire restaurant and it was 100% top notch. The wait staff was very... read more attentive and professional. The menu was fantastic! I had a cup of corn soup that was served in a china tea cup. The presentation was awesome and the soup so tasty. I also had CO Striped Bass that was beautifully prepared. My husband had a scallop, shrimp & rice dish that he really enjoyed. The restaurant also did a great job with the wine pairings with each entree. They have an extensive wine list. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and you just feel special there. I would highly recommend a meal at Seasoned if you are in Estes Park.
September 3, 2023Everything and everyone was high caliber. - Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Three of us at the table and we chose to order the tasting menu. Plus, the ribeye. We did a sampling... read more of everything. The chicken was the clear winner. Absolutely delicious. Expertly cooked and beautifully plated. Staff was attentive and accommodating. Ambience was subtle, comfortable and yet romantic. Highly recommend.

Two “best I’ve ever had” in one visit! - Really enjoyed the tasting menu here. Everything was beautifully presented, well thought out and exciting. Portions are perfect for this type of meal! We started with the... read more cheese puffs with pickled peppers and they were perfect! The puffs were light and creamy and the heat from the peppers was a nice balance. I also had the tomato-basil-watermelon soup which was divine, my friend and the asparagus starter which was perfect as well. We both had the pork belly main which was the best pork belly I have ever had. Nicely spiced, perfectly prepared and went well with the accompaniments. Dessert was delicious as well, our table had the cherry ricotta tart (sublime and not too sweet) and the lemon florentine which was the best. Think a lemony crème brûlée but instead of the brûlée top there is a florentine cookie. We also both had the smoked old fashioned (cherry wood smoke) and the presentation is so fun. It was the best old fashioned I’ve had. The staff is small but very good and welcoming, the space is bright and inviting. Highly recommend if you are in Estes and have a celebration or just need a fancy night out.
June 10, 2023A Must! - The food, atmosphere, and service is impeccable. This was our third visit to Seasoned, and it did not disappoint. The food is incredible, and we love that it is locally... read more owned using local ingredients. Any meal will be amazing, and for this trip, we had dessert and coffee. You must try the Cherry Cordial, the bread pudding, and the Honey Pot. All three are amazing. We will return to Seasoned every time we are in the area.

Visted Estes Park and stayed at and AirBnB just around the corner from the restaurant. Our party of six were promptly seated. The interior is cozy and intimate. Our server... read more was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. As many reviewers have noted the menu is limited. I appreciate a well thought out menu that is more limited in scope but with more craft and care put into the items on the menu. This is that sort of place. The cocktail and wine choices are also limited - as a wine aficionado I would have liked a few more choices there. I will say the wines they did have were well curated and I really liked the suggested wine pairings of the dishes. The food was quite good although one of our diners felt the duck was fine but not excellent. Service throughout the meal was fantastic. Also keep in mind there is a 3.5% surcharge on credit card transactions. Would definitely recommend if you are in Estes Park.
October 7, 2022Service was outstanding, no shade to the front of house staff at all. However, selection was very limited and not well described, and the food once it arrived was only... read more ok. The beef was a little underdone. I’m not normally any kind of steak snob but *for the prices charged* I expect a good understanding of rare/medium/well and no argument with what a customer prefers. I also noted a lot of ingredients weren’t local when the philosophy was what attracted us here.

This is a place where the food is worth a wait if there is a line. Very good service and with an attention to details. Every one's brunch dish was... read more outstanding. Fresh farm to table.
August 17, 2022We were not impressed with our meal here. Service was attentive but the food was just okay. It was like they are trying too hard. Just look at the menu... read more and how many ingredients they list for each dish. we each had the Three Sisters and were surprised by the tower of food that was delivered. It looked very much like and appetizer and everything was so piled together that I couldn't separate out the different elements that I had looked forward to tasting. Perhaps their meat offerings are more logical and better tasting. We wish we had instead eaten at Bird & Jim a second night.

My wife and I recently spent a few days in Estes Park, CO. We ate at several area restaurants during our stay.
The best by FAR was Seasoned-An American Bistro.... read more The chef is created and gifted. I highly recommend the Surf & Turf. It is as unique as it is delicious, and it is VERY delicious! The servers at Seasoned are adept at Customer satisfaction. Our server, Alexsandra, was attentive (without hovering), pleasant and knowledgeable. She definitely added to our pleasurable experience.
Although we've bee to Estes Park several times over the years, we were not familiar with Seasoned.
It is now on our must visit list when we return.
August 2, 2022Seasoned is the best restaurant in Rocky Mountain National Park. Their menu changes often, but everything is delicious. My husband and I had dinner there in July, enjoyed it so... read more much, we cancelled our dinner reservation at a different restaurant for the next night and went to Seasoned for our 2nd night with friends. We had the Cheese Puffs as an appetizer, enough to split, and they are scrumptious. I had the green salad, with the best greens I've had in years. My entree was the Three Sisters- a vegetarian dish with acorn squash, sweet potatoes, pinto beans and wonderful seasonings. My husband had an excellent pasta dish. On our 2nd night we both had the scallops which were well prepared and cooked just right. The honeycomb/ice cream with rhubarb dessert was excellent. Everything we had was beautifully prepared and well presented. The outdoor patio is a pleasant setting, the service was excellent, and the drinks were great. Excellent dining experience.

Based on the recommendation of our AirB&B host, we enjoyed an excellent dinner at Seasoned. The food was outstanding, from first course to main course with wine pairing to dessert.... read more Exquisite and creative flavors and presentation. Service was friendly and most attentive and we liked the ambiance. In fact, we returned for a second dinner the following night. All dishes we tried were excellent, including the corn soup, green salad with tomatoes, the Three Sisters - a delicious vegetarian dish, scallops, and pork shoulder. The desserts were excellent and unique - we tried the Hunny Cup and butterscotch pudding. We highly recommend this restaurant - the very best in Estes Park!
July 30, 2022We went twice there, and place is good but for the quality they offer they price is not going together .
They have very good vegetarian options, but some of... read more those have a lot fry food . I would say they 4 star on vegetarian dishes.
We order steak and the steak is good , and it coming with fry potato and deep fry mushroom, deep fry it just ok.
It just ok restaurant , overpriced for what they offer. The waitress have mask on with gloves on, can’t understand words she saying
We not planning go back
